This material is sourced from 100% acrylic fibers. Unlike other canvas fabrics, which are dyed after the weaving process, the individual fibers of Ottertex® Solution-Dyed Acrylic Waterproof Canvas are dyed even before the weaving process has begun. This process allows for a long-lasting, UV-resistant color on the fabric. Additionally, Ottertex® Solution-Dyed Acrylic Waterproof Canvas is available with a soft or stiff finish, which can be useful depending on how the fabric is intended to be used. Measuring 58 inches wide, this textile is 0.58 millimeters thick, has a 270 GSM, and is sold in 50-yard rolls. Ottertex® Solution-Dyed Acrylic Waterproof Canvas also resists abrasions, mold, tears, it has great tensile strength, and is very easy to clean. Furthermore, this fabric is backed by a 10-year warranty.

Ottertex® fabrics are manufactured in such a way that it can resist both mold and mildew. Exposure to materials that already contain mold and mildew can still spread on to the fabric. However, this can be easily washed off and treated. See cleaning instructions for more info.
